New installation of photovoltaic self-consumption net metering 16 kW in a hotel unit.
The installation took place in a hotel unit consisting of 3 luxury villas located on Pantazi beach in Agios Nikolaos, Mani. The 16 kW photovoltaic system is expected to meet the unit’s electricity needs.

The cost of the photovoltaic system is expected to be amortized in less than 2 years, based on the increased prices of electricity recently.
The self-consumption photovoltaic net metering is in line with the company’s philosophy for environmental protection, as it will significantly reduce the company’s environmental footprint as it will prevent the release of 19 tons of carbon dioxide per year and corresponds to the planting of 1,600 trees.

Photovoltaic Net-metering consists of
- 39 Luxor Solar Half-Cells photovoltaic panels Power 410 W
- 1 inverter SMA STP 15000 TL
- K2 systems support bases
The design of the photovoltaic system follows the standards IEC 62446-1: 2016 and IEC 62446-2: 2020 «Photovoltaic (PV) systems – Requirements for testing, documentation and maintenance – Part 1: Grid connected systems – Documentation, commissioning tests and inspection and Part 2: Grid connected systems – Maintenance of PV systems »
The photovoltaic system has been inspected according to IEC 62446-1: 2016 and is in compliance with the requirements of IEC 60364-6.
